Rao Bahadur starring Satyadev and directed by Venkatesh Maha has been one of those rare attempts in Telugu Cinema that excited many cinephiles and general audiences. The movie being presented by Mahesh Babu added to the buzz and anticipation of the film. Now, the movie released worldwide on 3rd July and let's look at initial reactions. 

The movie is receiving very mixed reviews from audiences on X. Whatever the critics and reviewers have to say, such films demand major attention from general audiences as it lands in an experimental zone. Claims of it being a new-age psychological drama from makers further cement the need to look at audiences perspective. 

Currently though, the movie seems to be attracting major reactions but they have been polarising. While some are appreciating the attempt and Venkatesh Maha's guts to write such characters, they are also criticising his choice to be over indulgent. Major complain has been that the movie is too slow in its first hour. 

Even the second hour has been not so interesting but Satyadev's performance shoulders the film and climax does make it all interesting. Yet, some are complaining that Maha went over the top at places as well. Overall, from initial reactions we can state that Rao Bahadur is slow in pacing but bold as an attempt for Telugu Cinema.
