Ramya Krishna Confirmed that she is Part of Rajinikanth's Jailer

When asked about her upcoming projects, Ramya Krishnan said that she will appear in Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film Jailer. Nelson Dilipkumar's directing 169th film, starring Rajinikanth, is expected to begin filming on August 10. With Jailer, Ramya and Rajinikanth hope to recapture the magic they had with previous film Padayappa.
While production details are yet unknown, we do know that Rajinikanth will join the filming in full after August 22; nevertheless, a special promo and test shoot will take place on August 10. Aishwarya Rai and Shiva Rajkumar are both said to have key roles in the film, though neither actor has acknowledged this.
Anirudh is composing the music, and Vijay Kartik Kannan shot the movie. The majority of the film will apparently be shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, with Rajini playing the title character, a Jailer. This film is expected to be a quirky action thriller, similar to Nelson's previous films, but set in a completely new setting.
