Oops!! Nagarjuna Beats Jr NTR

King Nagarjuna has beaten Jr NTR when it comes to Sankranthi releases. While Nannaku Prematho is declared a hit after a week due to the mixed response it evoked on day one, Soggade Chinni Nayana is written as a big hit on day one itself. Thanks to the patronising of family audiences.

All these days, Jr NTR is celebrating because this is his first movie to enter the 50 crore club which is already occupied by Pawan, Mahesh, Charan and Bunny. (consider Baahubali too, if that film also falls under normal category). As cinema lovers are busy celebrating Nannaku Prematho's collection of 50+ crores 'share' from box office, even Soggade too repeated the same feat. As per the official PR statement released by Nagarjuna, the film made 50 crores 'share' in 4 weeks of run. This is first such feat for King Nagarjuna.

In a way, being a senior and not-so-box-office-potential star, we have to say that Nagarjuna has beaten Young Tiger. Made with a budget of 15 crores, this is phenomenal profitable venture for Nag, while Nannaku Prematho costed 54 crores to release.
