Why Hit Songs Scare Thaman?

Talented music director Thaman is these days not scoring hit albums. But the composer says that pressure is being played on him due to the hits scored by others. He explained that today, while sharing thoughts about "Sarrainodu" album.
"Whenever someone scores a hit album, it terrifies me. Because if one composer scores a hit, then another one has to out do him. Especially with item numbers, the competition is much huge", said Thaman today. However he stated that, despite these hit albums scaring him, he always loves competition.
Thaman stated that 'Telusa Telusa' song from Sarrainodu became bigger hit than what actually everyone has expected, while 'Atiloka Sundari' song sung by Vishal Dadlani is another hit.
