Actor, model, theatre personality--Sonali Bendre Behl has donned many roles. But her son, Ranveer, 10 is most impressed by her recent avatar that of being an author. She has recently released a book named "The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments With Parenting". Its a candid, heartfelt, anecdotal account Bendre has shared in her book. This is what Namrata had to say about being a mother, "I am a mother and that's been my full time job for more than 7 years now. I thought it was all streamlined by the time Gautam was five-and-half. And just when I was feeling a little settled in,we had Sitara! So now, I am totally tied up for the next five years again. My whole day passes by in a whiz. I am running around the kids, getting Gautam ready for school, spending time with them. In between all that, I squeeze time out for the little bit of work that I do for Mahesh's endorsements. My meetings are all lined up for the first half of the day. The second half is totally reserved for the kids, because Gautam gets back from school by then."

This is what Madhuri has to say about motherhood. My son once wrote in his school essay that his mother is 'a little strict!' There are somethings I am a stickler at; these are things that I want them to do, no matter what. For example, I am very particular about them brushing their teeth, and eating their veggies, just like any other mother. The one time I felt very guilty and missed my kids was when I had come to India to shoot my first season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. I was here for four months. Though my kids came to visit me, I missed them terribly. It was the first time I was away for such a long time. But now, I'm here for them every evening, and even if I go outdoors for a shoot, it's not for more than 10 days. I ensure that I come back and spend time with them.

Mary Kom: Khupneivar Kom, Prince Chungthanglen Kom, Rechungvar Kom
Mary Kom, who won the gold in the Asian Cup women boxing tournament in China, had to rush to Chandigarh as soon as she landed at night to be with her son. Her three-and-a-half-year old son K Khupneivar, who is suffering from congenital heart disease, underwent cardiovascular surgery. Mary was relieved that the surgery was over without problem. Her husband who was looking after her son when she was in China says that it was a tough decision for Mary to go for the Asian Cup but everything has turned out for the best.
