Makers say Robinhood hikes are limited to few centres

on Mar 25, 2025

Robinhood starring Nithiin, Sreeleela movie has got ticket hikes from AP Government upto Rs.50 in Single Screens and Rs.75 in Multiplexes. Reports started going afloat that the hikes will be applied all over AP, raising prices for a Nithiin film, too. But the makers have clarified that it is not the case.

They have stated that they do not intend to hike prices for every film, rather they wish to provide a wholesome entertainer in theatres at affordable prices. They clarified that the hikes will be applicable only at few premium places and not everywhere. They clearly stated that in Telangana, they did not apply for hikes.

Their official statement reads, "There are unverified reports & news that Robinhood will have hiked prices in theatres. All these are completely baseless. Our intention with the film is to give wholesome entertainment at affordable prices. The hikes are only applicable at a few select premium locations in Andhra Pradesh. The rest of Andhra Pradesh and total Telangana will have normal prices at all centres. Enjoy Robinhood at your nearest theatres and get entertained to the fullest."

Well, the Venky Kudumula directorial is releasing on 28th March and inclusion of David Warner has increased its hype and buzz. The movie bookings have been opened all over and we have to see if it performs better over MAD Square, a sequel to a popular blockbuster.
