Nampally Court, Telangana has directed Police to take Allu Arjun for a 14-day custody in Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere stampede case. The actor has been arrested earlier in the morning at his residence. Police took him into custody as husband of Renuka - woman who got killed in the stampede, gave complaint against the actor.

Her husband gave a written complaint after his kids and wife have been found gravely injured in the stampede. He stated that Allu Arjun was the reason for the stampede as he arrived suddenly to Sandhya 70 MM theatre, which was already crowded, resulting in the stampede.

The actor released a public apology video stating that he always came to his film premieres and first shows to RTC "X" roads and this was the first time, such an unfortunate incident occured. Telangana Police have sent summons to the actor asking for an explanation regarding the issue and now, they have arrested him.

Allu Arjun moved to court for quashing the cases registered against him in this matter. But Court has decided to sent him to police custody for 14-days. As they have arrested the actor on Friday, he will have to wait till Monday, to get bail and be free from custody.
