SIIMA 2022 Awards: Clean Sweep by Allu Arjun's Pushpa

The SIIMA Awards 2022 ended on a grand note last night in Bangalore. Padmashri Kamal Haasan, Ranveer Singh, Yash, Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda were the guests of the evening.
As expected, Icon star Allu Arjun’s PAN Indian blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise has swept the awards by bagging the majority of the awards. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise bagged six SIIMA Awards.
1. Icon Star Allu Arjun is the winner of the Best Actor (Telugu) for Pushpa: The Rise
2. Creative Director Sukumar won the Best Director award (Telugu) for Pushpa: The Rise
3. Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari is the winner of the Best Actor in a Supporting Role Award (Telugu) for the movie Pushpa - The Rise.
4. Chandra Bose has rightly won the award for Best Lyric Writer (Telugu) for Srivalli from Pushpa - The Rise.
5. Sensational Pan India Super hit Pushpa The Rise won the Best Film (Telugu) award.
6. Devi Sri Prasad won the Best Music Director (Telugu) Award for Pushpa - The Rise.
- Noted Production Designers Ramakrishna and Monika have won the Special Jury Award for Production Design for Pushpa - The Rise, Thalaivi, and Uppena.
- Buchi Babu Sana won the Best Debutant Director Award (Telugu) for Uppena.
- Panja Vaishnav Tej won the Best Debutant Actor award for Uppena.
- Krithi Shetty is the winner of the Best Debutant Actress (Telugu) Award for the movie Uppena.
- Pooja Hegde won the Best Actress award for the Most Eligible Bachelor.
- Teja Sajja won the award for the Most Promising Newcomer (Male).
- Sreeleela has won the Most Promising Newcomer (Female) Award.
- Young actor Naveen Polishetty is named as the Best Actor (Critics).
- Satish Vegnesa won the award for Best Debut Producer (Naandhi).
- Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the winner of Best Actress in a Supporting Role - Female (Telugu) for the movie Krack.
- Geetha Madhuri won the Award for Best Playback singer - Female (Telugu) for the song Jai Balayya in the movie Akhanda.
- Ram Miriyala won the Award for Best Playback Singer - Male (Telugu) for the song Chitti in the movie Jathi Ratnalu.
- Vijay Deverakonda was presented with the Youth Icon South (Male) Award.
- C Ram Prasad won the award for Best Cinematographer (Telugu) for the movie Akhanda.
Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar who passed away recently is named as the Best Actor in Kannada for his film Yuva Rathnaa.
Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is awarded the Pan Indian Superstar award and Ranveer Singh bagged the award as the Most Loved Bollywood Actor
