Actor Naresh reprimands Telangana Government

on Oct 16, 2024

Actor Naresh has been reactive on social media to different social issues. Even though he is one of the most sought after supporting actors in Telugu Cinema, amongst his busy schedules, he doesn't fail to make his opinions heard.

He reacted very strongly about the perpetrator being concluded as Mentally ill in Kalimatha Temples attack case. He demanded a transparent and thorough investigation in this issue leading to justice. He questioned government about shielding cultural terrorism and remined that in a secular country, everybody should be allowed to worship peacefully.

On his X profile, he wrote, "I strongly condemn the attack on kalimatha temples in Secunderabad,  Amberpet & Nampally . Worst is, without  investigating thoroughly , the authorities have come to the conclusion that the culprit is mentally ill. Why shield cultural terrorism. Let us all worship peacefully in our so called secular country.  This needs a transparent investigation & Justice."

On Monday, Muthyalamma Temple in Secunderabad got vandalised and idol got descreated. Locals caught a person and handed him over to police as the perpetrator. There have been protests demanding a quick action against such extremists and to send a strong message to such people further to not interfere in religious matters.
