We are Telling Old Family story in a new way says Dilraju

In a media interaction held today morning, ace producer Dil Raju officially announced that the Telugu dubbed version of Varisu has been postponed to January 14, 2023 for its worldwide release. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally, starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.

Speaking on this occasion, Dil Raju said "I've heard from everyone during the Story discussions that this movie is a combination of Ala Vaikuntapuramloo, Maharshi, and a few other movies. There are many people who will say these ridiculous things about my movies, but I know they'll create sensation."

He added "We've all seen these family entertainers, so what's new in your movie, everyone says. We are not telling a brand-new story; rather, we are telling a family story in a new way. The movie is loaded with emotions. And this movie is going to be Sankranti Vaarasudu."

Actor Srikanth also share intriguing details about the film in media interaction. He said "Respect to Dilraju garu who still thought of Tollywood despite making a movie on huge budget. He delayed the release of his own movie in order to make more theatres available for Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. It takes guts for him to make that choice."

He added "ThalapathyVijay is a down to earth person. I've seen him in person and he respects Telugu artists, language and people very much. I think Varisu is going to create sensation in TamilNadu."
