Venky Realises ‘Santosham Sagam Balam’

For the first time ever, hero Venkatesh is taking more time in his career to finalise a script and move on to shooting. After the debacle of “Shadow”, he realised the importance of selecting matured scripts than picking the ones that need him dancing around the trees with a heroine.
Post “Shadow”, Venky took time to sign to remakes. One of them is Drishyam, a superhit Malayali flick and another one is Bollywood movie Oh My God. Their Telugu remakes, Drishyam and Gopala Gopala, both turned super hits here. That made Venky wait for potential scripts again and he has started Maruthi’s “Radha” but that was called off due to script-stealing issues. Now, Venky is starting a new movie under Onamalu and Malli Malli Idhi Rani Rani roju fame Kranthi Madhav’s direction. This movie is tentatively titled “Santosham Sagam Balam”.
Cinema lovers feel that Venky and Kranthi Madhav will be a nice combination for the kind of films this director delivered and for the kind of matured performances Venky is coming up these days. Hope they will score a big hit.
