What was thought a simple task has become a herculean one with Varun Tej and his director Sreenu Vaitla taking decisions at snail's pace.
Initially hottie Rakul Preet Singh is approached to play lead opposite Varun in this film. Even Rakul stated that she's approached but also stated that she hasn't signed the dotted line. And there is name of Kajal Agarwal popping on the screen as she has also done a photo shoot with this talented mega hero. But we hear now, Lavanya Tripathi is finalised as the leading lady of the film, looking into all aspects including the monetary angle.
While Rakul demanded more than a crore, Kajal is said to have asked 2 crores. So naturally Lavanya became the best contender.
