Here is an exclusive interview with director V V Vinayak on his upcoming movie Alludu Sreenu starring debutante Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Samantha. Here is a quick read for all viewers and fans on what he spoke about the film !!!
How has Alludu Sreenu shaped up ?
The movie has come out really well and I am confident that Alludu Sreenu will be loved by all. Initially I was a bit nervous but with a lot of improvements and modifications done to the script, I am tension free now.
Tell us about your experience with a debutante like Bellamkonda Srinivas
Srinivas was new and fresh for all of us just on the first day. Later on it felt like we were working with an experienced actor. He had no fear for camera. He is a skilled and trained youth who has passion for cinema. It was pleasure working with a talented boy like him.
Why was the film made on such a lavish budget ?
It was the idea of Bellamkonda Suresh. He wanted his son's first movie to be made on a huge scale. He wanted the best in every aspect right from artists to locations. So ideally, we chose a script that matched our requirement. That is the reason behind making Alludu Sreenu on such a huge cost.
Did Srinivas fit into the script perfectly ?
The script was designed and penned for Srinivas in particular. He is the only person who can fit into that role. Since the film was penned keeping Srinivas in mind, he perfectly blended with the role.

How did Srinivas find it acting with senior actors in the industry like Bramhanandam, Prakash Raj, Samantha and so on ?
Srinivas only had trouble with Bramhanandam. He started off laughing even before shooting a comedy scene with Bramhi. So we made him sit with Bramhanandam to gain that control. On the other hand, Srinivas was quite comfortable with Prakash Raj and Samantha. There was no issue in his chemistry factor. He created a comfort zone with all artists in the sets.
Why did you choose the title, Alludu Sreenu ?
Alludu Sreenu has a clear justification in the film. Srinivas is the son-in-law of Prakash Raj in the movie. Prakash Raj keeps addressing the hero as 'Alludu' and thus the title is apt for the flick. In addition to this, Prakash Raj plays a very crucial role in the movie. The scenes involving Srinivas and Prakash Raj are very important.
Tell us about the outline of the story
Srinivas is a young guy in the film. He is aggrevated because of those who cheat Prakash Raj. So Srinivas tries to take revenge on all those who did injustice to his uncle. On a parallel lane, we have a love story and loads of comedy to entertain the audience.
How long did you shoot for the film and Where ?
We shot for more than 100 days. Many scenes and songs were shot abroad. Some locations are hardly known to people. Some are unexplored by cinema people. For example, there is one such location in Japan and a very expensive shot canned at a resort in Abu Dhabi. These are the highlights. Apart from this, we shot in Hyderabad, Europe and so on.
What makes Alludu Sreenu different from your other films ?
Every aspect is different in Alludu Sreenu. There are fully packed commercial elements but all of them are different. For instance, I tried something different for action sequences. You will not not see the regular vehicle chases and blasts in the movie. There is a runway chase which marks a highlight in action seqences of Alludu Sreenu.
Tell us about Samantha and Tamannah
Samantha is the star heroine right now. We chose her since she was the best. She gave her best efforts for Alludu Sreenu. On the other hand, we roped in Tamannah for a special song in the movie. I really thank Tamannah for accepting this request without even a single question.
Tell us about Music in Alludu Sreenu
Devi Sri Prasad has done a brilliant job for Alludu Srenu. Every song is wonderful and I personally received positive feedback on a melody titled 'Neeli Neeli.."

What are the plus points in Srinivas ?
Srinivas is a trained actor. He is skilled at dancing, stunts, dialogue deliveries and performance. He took the effort of learning things before getting into cinema. He spent 3 long years on getting trained to become a perfect actor.
