'Udta Punjab' leaked online:

The movie which had managed to get out from the Censor issues, heads towards another serious problem- Piracy. The full movie with a run-time of 2 hours and twenty minutes, was leaked online and soon got spread like a wildfire. Many sites hosted the movie along with downloading options for the movie "Udta Punjab". Days before this happened, the makers of Udta Punjab were fighting for the Censorship certificate and now, this leakage of the full movie.

Court cleared film with 1 cut after Censor Board's demand for 89 cuts 'Udta Punjab', the drug-themed film won a fight at the court and got prepared to hit the theaters with only 1 cut, instead of 89 cuts as suggested by the Censor Board. Slated for a release tomorrow, the movie got leaked yesterday online and its producers have alleged in a complaint to the Mumbai police.

Phantom Films filed a copyright theft case with the cyber crime cell last night after what they believed was the copy submitted to the censor board found its way into several torrentz sites that offered the film's download illegally. The download links were later "removed due to a copyright complaint", the websites read.

Abhishek Chaubey is the director of this movie starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.
