The Hollywood hunt for the unique look for the hero seems to have ended in a ponytail for now and began in T'Town. A Ponytail is a hairstyle in which some, most, or all of the hair on the head is pulled away from the face, gathered and secured at the back of the head with a hair tie , clip, or other similar device, and allowed to hang freely from that point.

Jr NTR may be the first of the contemporaries to sport a pony. He is seen tying the
hair for his movie Yamadonga. This is the only film where Jr NTR seen with long
hair. Yeah!! Jr NTR is trend setter in style too.
Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun the stylish star, he tries different hairdos for each films of his, he never
appeared in same look for his consecutive films. He appeared in ponytail for his high grandeur film Badrinath.
Nitin
The most stylish look was given to the rising star Nitin for his film Heart Attack by the
director Puri jagannath. He was seen sporting the ponytail which added value to his
costumes and attitude.
Ram Charan
Ram Charan who is gearing up for his Govindudu Andarivadele, which seems to
be complete family entertainer, he is seen sporting a ponytail for the film. This is
not the first time that this mega hero seen with ponytail, he sported this style in
Magadheera too for the harsha character.
Prabhas
Prabhas the darling of masses, needs no introduction when it is for styling and
costumes. He got many accolades for trendy outfits and superb looks for his films
like Mirchi, Mr Perfect and Rebel. He was seen sporting a ponytail in one of his
offline photographs, he grew his hair for Bahubali and tied it when he is off-shoot.
Rana Daggubati
Same like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati too tied his hair which he grew for bahubali. in
short span of his carreer he has many link ups already, this is only because of his
stylish looks and for macho image he has in bollywood.
Varun Sandesh
Varun Sandesh went for a bouffant hairstyle and a ponytail to look the character he was playing in D for Dopidi. The actor pulled back his hair in a sleek ponytail, lending a stylish look.
Quiz the film's director Siraj Kalla on why the actor had to sport a ponytail, he says, "We wanted to project Varun as an urbane teenager, and a guy who's pretty crazy about girls. So, we thought having a ponytail added a bit of charm to his look and we went for it."
