Rajanna movie news updates: Telugu movies King Akkineni Nagarjuna's new movie Rajanna would be shot in the locales of Araku in Visakhapatnam district from June 13. Rajanna movie unit would filming few action scenes and possibly a song on the movie's lead cast in Araku for the next few days and return back to Hyderabad.

There's also some great buzz about the art work that's going into this movie. Art director Ravi framed a wonderful Telangana village set of 1940s and couple of other costly sets. Sneha and Anushka are playing heroines beside Nagarjuna in this movie, which is scheduled for August release. Rajanna is directed by Vijayendra Prasad, while the action sequences are directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios.

The story has the backdrop of the Telangana Razakar Movement in the pre-Independence days and special attention has been given to the design of the costumes of that era. Sneha is playing heroine beside Nagarjuna. RR Movie Makers, who earlier distributed Nagarjuna's Gaganam in Ceeded is reportedly said to accquire the Rajanna movie rights for the entire AP.
