SCOOP: Telugu Anchors Behaving Foolishly
on Aug 12, 2015
The response given by Telugu anchors for the video uploaded by one Annapurna Sunkara, USA based Telugu girl, are truly shocking. Especially happening anchors like Ravi, Syamala and struggling actress Karuna is utter foolish as they sounded as silly as possible.
Telugu girl Annapurna Sunkara questioned how come Tamanna’s clothes are forcibly stripped by Prabhas character to make her realise about feminine beauty? “If Draupadi’s clothes stripped, it lead to Mahahbarata war, but here Prabhas has insulted women with his acts, so what should be our reaction?”, she questioned. This girl also asked if Telugu filmmakers couldn’t ever make a film where they can’t make fun and comedy by not insulting, hurting or beating anyone.
The response from anchor Ravi is— “Annapurna, don’t comment on film industry. You’re nothing before legends like Rajamouli and Ali. It’s tough here to prove in cinema world, and if you’ve guts come and prove here”. This sounds too pathetic because only if these so called audiences like Annapurna watch films, producers are able to recover money and heroes are able to flourish. When big stars like Pawan and Mahesh are calling fans as Gods, how come this struggling actor failed to realise that?
Anchor Syamala’s defence for Ali is shocking; Annapurna questioned in her video why comedian Ali talks about Samantha’s ‘waist’ so publicly in front of thousands of audiences? For that Syamala replied, “Ali is respectable actor, and we know him offscreen. Don’t try to get publicity by talking about him”. Being a woman, this response from Syamala is atrocious. So if anyone could comment about a girl’s waist in public just for being in film industry for years, there is no meaning for words like ‘common sense’ and ‘ethics’.
Another TV starlet Karuna, who’s struggling to get chances on silver screen, also asked Annapurna Sunkara to not talk about Film Industry and advised her to make videos that will be liked by her friends but not these hate videos. Well, none would have noticed Karuna if not she made comments on this FB video. So it’s an attention grabbing chance for our anchor not Annapurna Sunkara.
Many more film celebs are joining this gang of bashing the NRI girl who tried to pitch reality into ears of film lovers. This is not self defence, but a foolish response. Stop it.
