Curly beauty Taapsee Pannu was shown as glamour doll in most of the Telugu films. However, Bollywood filmmakers exposed other talent of her. Although Taapsee entered Bollywood with an above average grosser Chashme Baddoor, she got first critical applause with her performance in Akshay Kumar starrer Baby. And we know how much fame the female centric film 'Pink' had bought to her.
Albeit, Taapsee's last movie Naam Shabhana was a commercial failure, she is still considered as best choice for female oriented pictures. She is indeed branded as 'lady boss' in Bollywood.
Latest update is Taapsee Pannu has signed to play one of the lead roles in Anurag Kashyap's women oriented crime drama film Womaniya. Bollywood bombshell Parineeti Chopra is roped in to play another lead role in the film. More details about the project are awaited.
Interim, Taapsee is busy with couple of Bollywood projects- Tadka and Judwaa 2.
