Sundar C drops out from Rajinikanth's next

Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have decided to come together for a film and then, they have announced that Rajini will act in production of Kamal. The movie had been announced to be directed by Sundar C. Many wanted Arunachalam kind of fantasy comedy once again from this combination.
But Sundar C had made the difficult decision to step back from the prestigious project due to unforeseen circumstances. He described the project as a dream, thanked both legends for their guidance and lessons, and apologized for disappointing fans. He promised to continue delivering entertaining movies further too.

Due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, I have made the difficult decision to step back from the prestigious project, #Thalaivar173. This venture, featuring the legendary Superstar Thiru. Rajinikanth Avl and to be produced by the illustrious Ulaganayagan Thiru. Kamal Haasan Avl, was indeed a dream come true for me.
In life, there are moments when we must follow the path laid out for us, even if it diverges from our dreams. My association with these two icons goes back a long way, and I will always hold them in the highest regard. The special moments we have shared over the past few days will be cherished forever by me.
