Bollywood artisans and technicians are honoured for their prowess by the International Indian Film Awards (IIFA). IIFA gives away these awards annually, to encourage and to identify their skill. The yesteryear heroine Sridevi Boni Kapoor is to be felicitated with an outstanding achievement award in Indian cinema at the upcoming 17th IIFA Awards.
The 52-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut as a child artist with the 1975 movie ‘Julie’.And has worked in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films, In her 40-year span of Sridevi has given memorable performances in films like ‘Sadma,’ ‘Mr. India’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Khuda Gawah’ and ‘English Vinglish’.
