Shankar's 'I' Telugu Audio Release Highlights

The cast and crew of the highly anticipated film 'I' flew down to the city to launch the Telugu audio of the film. The film's director Shankar was accompanied by actor Vikraman , P.C Sreeram and T. Muthuraj. The film's leading lady amy Jackson gave the audio launch a miss.
Lyricists Ananth Sriram, Ramajogayya Sastri, Chandrabose and Suddhala Ashok Teja spoke about Shankar’s music knowledge and thanked him for giving them an opportunity to be a part of ‘I’.
Shankar started his speech by thanking all the directors and lyricists who attended the event. Especially, he thanked comedian Srinivas Reddy for his voiceover to Santhanam’s character.
Shankar revealed that he lost the chance to direct a straight Telugu film in the past and he promised that he will definitely direct a Telugu film in the future.
Vikram thanked Telugu audience for showering love on him and he said that he is fortunate to find a place in the hearts of Telugu people. He promised that ‘I ‘ will definitely entertain Telugu audience.
Producer NV Prasad shared some interesting things about Shankar. He said, “After Aparichitudu, I gave advance to Shankar and he accepted it. Suddenly, I got a call from AVM Productions and they visited my office in Tirupati. They said that AVM has got Rajinikanth’s date and revealed that they want Shankar to direct the film. They added that Shankar was ready to do the film only if he (NV Prasad) is ok with it”.
Mr Prasad praised Shankar for showing professionalism at the work and said that he is privileged to get the Telugu distribution rights of ‘I’.
Trivikram Srinivas appreciated the entire team and wished good luck for the film. He said that he is waiting to watch ‘I” in the theater for this coming Sankranti.
Tollywood’s topmost director SS Rajamouli remembered his assistant director days and said “It took many years for me to understand the technique of ‘Mukkala’ song. Though I became a director now, I still feel that it would take a lot of time to understand the making of ‘I’”.
