Sanju though said to be a biopic of Sanjay Dutt has been criticised as white wash of the actors controversial image. Some even dared to call it as a tribute to him. Sanjay Dutt is shown as a victim of the circumstances rather than a criminal. Nothing is shown about his first two wives.
