Did Salman really do this for Ash's film??

According to reports, it has been suggested that Salman Khan has stepped in to help filmmaker Karan Johar out of the controversy surrounding Pakistan actor in his film and called up MNS President Raj Thackeray, requesting him to put an end to the matter and let Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and other films in the radar such as Raees release without any hassle. Earlier Karan Johar‘s Diwali release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was in trouble as MNS workers have called for a ban on the film’s release unless Fawad Khan‘s character is edited out of the final copy. The political party also issued a diktat asking Pakistani actors to leave the country in 48 hours in wake of the terrorist attack in Uri, Kashmir. According to a source, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor called up MNS President Raj Thackeray earlier in the day and requested him to put an end to the matter and let Ae Dil Hai Mushkil release. But some reports also said that no such call was made to the party chief yet by the actor. An official statement on this is awaited.
