Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated flick Robo 2.0 (2 Point 0) which was planned for release on January 25th is postponed to April 13th. Delay in post-production works is said to be main reason for the postponement.
Director Shankar who’s a Mr perfectionist is said to be not too contented with graphical works. Thus, he concluded to give additional time to CG team. However, this delay in release will cost bomb for producers.
Visual effects are pricey and the CG companies generally charge amount in number of hours they worked on the project. Giving 2 to 3 months extra time for VFX team will be a big burden for the makers. What’s more, budget will be increased in terms of finances.
Robo 2.0 is said to be made on a budget of 400 crores. The Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson co-starrer film needs to do exceptional business like Baahubali series did at box office.
Irrespective of talk, Robo 2.0 will get enormous openings owing to sky-high expectations on it. Nonetheless, positive talk can only save the movie to mint money at ticket windows in next days.
