Media Misquoted my Statements: Ram Charan

on Jun 12, 2011

In what could snowball into a bitter controversy, Ram Charan Tej has played down all the reactions shown towards him. Every now and the internal tangles in Telugu cinema industry pops out and the latest issue of Ram Charan Tej commenting on Dasari Narayana Rao is a classic example. Says Ram Charan tej, “I didn't made any negative statements on any1, cheap publicity gurinchi hadavidi chese valla gurinchi matladanu”.

Ram Charan’s statement about heroines attending award functions has created controversy in film industry. Producer Natti Kumar is demanding an apology (from Ram Charan) to Dasari for making derogatory comments. However, Ram Charan clarified that he just gave an example of how the number of heroines who came from north India have participated in 2010′s film fare awards function. “I did not make any negative statements but media has misquoted the statements as if they were against Dasari Narayana Rao”. Ram Charan further clarified that his intention was never to degrade a senior director like Dasari Narayana Rao.

So did Ram Charan intentionally make such statements on Dasari Narayana Rao? Or Chiranjeevi made Ram Charan to say so? Or was Dasari team just trying to take advantage of the comments?

I think Ram Charan's comments were not intentional!
