Top Newspaper Slings Mud On Charan
on Feb 26, 2016
There's no mincing of words, as actually this top newspaper stated that Ram Charan is one actor who could make cash registers ringing at box office on first three days, irrespective of what the result of film will be. But the problem occurred with the figures they shared about the collections of his recent movies.
A report of that newspaper mentioned, Charan's "Yevadu" was made on 35 crores budget and it collected a 45 crores 'gross' from box office. "Govindudu Andarivadele" collected 35 crores gross while making cost is 38 crores. "Bruce Lee" collected only 25 crores gross, while it costed 37 crores for making. Going by the figures given by the paper, we have to say that Charan's films are colossal disasters. But except "Bruce Lee", there is no such thing really happening. All these figures remain quite far from the facts and in reality Charan has collected much more than what the newspaper reported.
"Yevadu" collected 47 crores "share" from the worldwide box office and the gross would easily account to 60+ crores. "Govindudu Andarivadele" collected 41.65 crores share across the globe while the gross stands at 53+ crores. "Bruce Lee" collected 60.2 crores 'gross' and 39.6 crores 'share' from box office, though it brought nearly 35% loss to distributors. What say paper now?
