on Jul 25, 2015
Throwing a hat into the ring of big films’ satellite rights, Telugu entertainment channel Zee Telugu is showing its dominance over the satellite market. After grabbing rights of couple of biggies like Srimanthudu in the recent days, they have set eyes on Ram Charan and Sreenu Vytla’s upcoming movie now.
Pushing other leading players like MAA Tv and Gemini TV to an edge, we hear that Zee Telugu managed to grab Charan-Vytla film’s satellite rights. Guess what the price is. For a whopping 13 crores, this film’s satellite rights are said to be brought. Earlier, they have bagged Srimanthudu rights for around 10.2 crores. So far the highest paid for a Telugu film is 12.5 crores for 1-Nenokkadine by Gemini Tv if we keep Baahubali’s astronomical satellite rights price aside.
As of now, Ram Charan’s flick is progressing briskly at Ramoji Film City with crucial scenes being shot on Charan, Rakul Preet and Kriti Kharbanda. October 15th is the aimed release date for this movie.
