Shocker: Superstar With Pizza Director

Superstar Rajinikanth is in a mood to give chance to debut and small time filmmakers. He introduced director Pa. Ranjith with Kabali and he is presently doing Kaala with the same director.

Latest news is Rajinikanth has given nod to a new film with director Karthik Subbaraj who is known for making critically acclaimed and commercially successful films like Pizza, Jigarthanda and Iraivi. Kalanithi Maran will produce this movie lavishly under Sun Pictures.

Interestingly, Rajinikanth announced to enter politics by floating his own political party. Many predicted that, the superstar will bid adieu to films. But, announcement of this new film indicates that he will continue doing films. More details about the project are awaited.

On the other hand, Karthik Subbaraj is currently busy wrapping up his upcoming film titled Mercury which has Prabhudeva playing lead role.
