Deepika to Sue Against Ekta Kapoor

Deepika, whose real life story inspired Ekta Kapoor's upcoming film "Ragini MMS", Friday said that she would proceed legally against the producer if she does not show me the movie before the release. The 22 year old Delhi-based girl said that she already spoke to producer Ektha Kapoor in this connection but she's unable to find out why's Ekta not interested to show me the movie.

When Deepika dropped at Balaji office, the answers she's getting is that the movie was not ready and as such the production house is unable to show the movie, which is just one week away from release. Deepika was shown the movie's script before it has hit the production but Deepika wants to check whether she's been shown in the right light or not.

Says Deepika, “ I was shown the script during production and I absolutely have no problems with the script. However, there's ample variation between the content on paper and digital content. I want to check the digital content before there's any damage done to my image”. Although Deepika was offered compensation for her story, producer Ekta maintains that only 30 percent of the film is based on the rest is completely imaginative.

Ragini MMS is a true story of Deepika, where her boyfriend secretly filmed both of them involved in intimate physical contact. Ragini MMS movie is produced by Ekta and directed by Pawan Kripalani, and Kainaz Motivala is essaying Deepika's role.
