Pushpa 2 The Rule ticket prices start to drop

on Dec 6, 2024

Pushpa 2 The Rule makers have gone for astronomical prices for the first weekend and entire week. Till 9th of December, the ticket rates have been huge everywhere. The day one sales have been decent to good and then second day bookings have been lower. Before they go drastically low, distributors and exhibitors have decided to reduce them. They have decided to drop the prices from Rs.500, Rs.400 to RS.250 to Rs.200.

The drastic changes are not just to low bookings but also as the movie did not receive overwhelming positive feedback. While it did collect a huge Rs.294 crores gross worldwide, the bookings have been problematically low. So, the distributors and exhibitors have decided to bring the prices down.

In Hindi market, Pushpa 2 has been able to secure Rs.72 crores Nett gross on opening day breaking all the opening day records. It could tumble SRK's Jawan opening day Nett gross and hence, got the record. It could also overpower opening day worldwide record gross for a Telugu movie held by RRR.

While Allu Arjun's performance is being praised everywhere, the film is being criticised for the lag in the screenplay and a messy, lengthy second hour. The movie makers are hoping for the film to build on the day one momentum and collect more than Rs.1000 crores but with low ticket bookings, the prices had to be pulled down.
