I Missed Gentleman For AP

on Oct 31, 2017

Its may be fortune or misfortune sometimes… actors miss to work with few films. While few subjects were rejected owing to busy schedules, few others were refused as they feel like they may not work at box office.

Hero Rajasekhar who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film PSV Garuda Vega has revealed an interesting story of how he missed an iconic film Gentleman long ago in a TV show. As revealed by Rajasekhar, director Shankar had approached him with Gentleman story. Though Rajasekhar was amazed with the script, he couldn’t immediately allot call sheets for them since he had already committed to do Allari Priyudu (AP) in K Raghavendra Rao direction.

Rajasekhar also stated that they roamed around him to give Rs 10 lakhs as advance amount, if he accepts to do the film. Nonetheless, Rajasekhar told them to do the film if they can wait until completion of Allari Priyudu. Shankar who immediately wanted to make the film had then approached Arjun to star in the film. We know how big hit Gentleman was? Rajasekhar feels bad for missing the project.

It may be mentioned here that, Rajasekhar was also supposed to do Tagore. However, Chiranjeevi replaced him owing to some reasons.

Interim, Rajasekhar’s prestigious venture PSV Garuda Vega directed by Praveen Sattaru is all set to hit the screens on 3rd November.
