Popular Novelist Criticises Charan's Stardom
on Jan 20, 2016
Popular novelist Yandamuri Veerendranath has quipped that Ram Charan has achieved nothing other than growing up under his dad's shadow, while composer Devi Sri Prasad has grown himself on own talents and carved out a name for himself.
Speaking at an interaction with Engineering students, Yandamuri explained how Charan's mother has dreamt when he was a boy about making her son a hero. "Charan's mother used to get him trained in dances and karate. Later they got him operated for a corrective jaw surgery. Coming to this youngster, he showed interest in music from childhood and he became a star, Devi Sri Prasad now". said Yandamuri. Later he pointed out that everyone clapped upon hearing DSP's name, but they didn't responded when he said about Charan. "It's what you achieve, not who your dad is", he avers.
These comments are surely not going well with mega fans and other cinema lovers.
