Nikesha Patel made her filmy debut with Pawan Kalyan's film Komaram Puli and was later seen in Kalyanram's OM 3D. After two flops, Nikesha Patel then became busy in Sandalwood. At a time when Nikesha's career was almost done in Telugu, she reportedly got a phone call from Pawan Kalyan recently if she can perform an item song for his upcoming film, Gabbar Singh-2. Nikesha who is not that keen for item numbers reportedly expressed her consent due to Pawan Kalyan factor. The film is being directed by Power fame KS Ravindra (Bobby) while Devi Sri Prasad would be scoring the music.
