Though Nagarjuna wanted to launch Akhil in a grand manner through a different film, finally he relied on VV Vinayak for a mass film. That's how "Akhil" has happened.
When the release is almost confirmed for October 22nd, Nagarjuna and Nitin have confirmed that the release is postponed. And the cause they have said is graphics work. Even Nagarjuna stated the other day that the graphic work is disappointing so they are not in a mood to release it until the CG turns out terrific like in Baahubali. But there is another reason being spread in Film circles.
Apparently Nag didn't like the climax shot by VV Vinayak for the film, while couple of other action scenes are also disappointing. Nag is said to have asked Vinayak to re-shoot the climax fights and remove certain graphics scenes which are looking quite funny. We have to see when will "Akhil" finish all this work and head for a release.
