Is Naga Chaitanya joining Sankranti race?

on Oct 15, 2024

Naga Chaitanya is starring mega budget film, Thandel. Post Custody, the actor has been committed to be part of only Thandel, in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti. Even though, the director-actor combination's past film, Savyasachi, did not work at the box office, they re-united for Thandel post Karthikeya 2 success.

Chandoo Mondeti worked on the script for two years and then Geeta Arts have decided to produce the film on a lavish scale. They have announced that the production cost could go beyond Rs.100 crores and they are trusting in the script, director's vision and actors.

Sai Pallavi has been cast alongside Naga Chaitanya in the film and the pair after Love Story, are coming together for this one. Love Story worked for both of them due to their performances and Thandel is expected to work big time again because of their chemistry as well.

Now, the speculations are rife that Thandel could release for Sankranti season. Already, Ram Charan' Game Changer and Balakrishna's NBK109 have been scheduled for Sankranti release. If Thandel decides to join them, theatres could be an issue but the festival season can accommadate several films.

As off now, this is a speculation going around. Will Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind take a decision to release the movie for Sankranti or for Republic Day weekend, as the movie contains patriotic elements, we have to wait and see.
