A KGF level disappointment for NTR fans

on Oct 8, 2024

NTR fans are on a huge high with Devara becoming a blockbuster. As it is following a huge blockbuster like RRR, that too, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, they wanted the flop streak post SSR film to break with Devara. NTR had to face big slump twice post Simhadri and Yamadonga but he broke that myth with Devara.

Now, the actor is finishing his commitment for WAR-2. The actor shot for the film in Mumbai while the team went abroad to shoot some sequences with Hrithik Roshan. By November end or December first week, NTR's portions in the film will be wrap, say sources.

From October last week or November first week, Prashant Neel is going to start shooting his next with NTR. The film might have Rukmini Vasanth in the leading lady role. As the multiverse, connected universe and two part films have been current trend, NTR fans anticipated Prashant Neel to have some connection with KGF.

Even Prabhas fans speculated Salaar to have KGF connection or a lead to third part of that film in second part with Dhara character. Well, we can only talk about that if and when Salaar 2 happens. For now, latest buzz is that NTR-Neel will be a standalone film and it will release for Jan, 2026.

NTR fans are disappointed with this news as they hoped to see Yash in Rocky Bhai avatar interacting with Young Tiger. The alleged title for NTR and Neel film is Dragon. Mythri Movie Makers are producing the film and makers did not discuss about possible prequel, sequel or continuation of story, for this film, yet.
