NBK vs Jr. NTR debate sparks on social media again

on Jan 4, 2025

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr. Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao or Tarak fans have been at warring heads from past few years on social media. The main point of contention and debate has been the acceptance of Tarak as kin of Nandamuri clan and including him in family events, cinema events of NBK.

While there have been instances of both NBK and Tarak have been seen together discussing at family events and both being guests of others' film events, but they have been rare. Without going into the murky details, even NBK and his late elder brother, father of NTR, Hari Krishna had issues about political interests.

Currently, Tarak has been concentrating more on his movie career and not getting involved into politics of Telugu Desam Party at all after his 2009 brief burst. But among fans of NBK and Tarak, there have been issues about why one should accept another as successor and who is real successor.

Now, in the ongoing Unstoppable with NBK show in AHA, NBK did not take the name of Jr. NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa, among the films of director Bobby Kolli. In the recent episode, NBK invited his upcoming Daaku Maharaaj film team including composer S Thaman, director Bobby and producer Naga Vamsi.

During his discussion with Bobby about his filmography, the makers did not bother to mention Jai Lava Kusa, which became a comeback hit for the director after a debacle like Sardar Gabbar Singh. While the later got mentioned former did not get any sort of a mention. Hence, NTR fans called for boycott of Daaku Maharaaj.

The social media fight has gone so viral that the producer of Daaku Maharaaj, Naga Vamsi, appealed to NTR fans to remain calm and support the film as it is "Everyone's film - a Telugu Film". Looks like the family members should try to clarify to fans about not making too much of the personal issues, if any.
