Taapsee Pannu explained why she was not invited for the Koffee with Karan episode. Taapsee claimed that she was passed up for the latest season of Koffee with Karan "because her sex life was boring". As part of the promotion for her film Doobara, reporters asked about Karan's show, to which she responded with a strong and wacky answer.
Season 7, which premiered on July 1, featured notable stars from the film industry such as Ananya Pandey, Vijay Deverakonda, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Aamir Khan. Every Thursday, 7 new episodes of Koffee With Karan air on Disney+Hotstar.
Doobara, Taapsee's most recent film, was directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Shobha and Ekta Kapoor's production house Cult Movies. The film will be released in theatres on August 19.
