2018 Movie has become a new Industry hit in Kerala and it crossed massive 160 crores collections in Mollywood. The film which is still creating sensation in own state, was released in Telugu recently by Passionate Producer Bunny Vas.
The film creating sensation in Tollywood with decent collections even on working days. The film also released in Hindi and Tamil on the same day. Unfortunately, the film failed to recreate the magic in its Hindi version and is on its way to becoming a massive box-office disaster.
The film failed miserably on its Hindi release and could not even recover P&P. So far, 2018 has just collected around 25L gross in Hindi markets and its box-office run is pretty much over. This performance is quite contrasting to what 2018 did down south.
The lack of promotions or the absence of familiar faces appears to be the major cause for the film’s abysmal performance in Hindi. The film will soon hit the OTT as well with the official announcement already made for a June 7th release.
