Puri Jagannadh Lands His Son In Indo-Pak War

Puri Jagannadh was given many chances though he’s making flops. His last directorial Paisa Vasool with Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna also turned out as a disaster. When no star hero is enthusiastic to work with Puri Jagannadh, the director decided to launch his son Akash Puri as hero.

What’s more, the film titled Mehbooba which he says is a soulful love story in the back-drop of 1971 Indo-Pak War. “Irrespective of the blood relation I share with Akash Puri, it’s his love and fire towards cinema that’s making me do this film with him. A Manglorean girl named Neha Shetty will be playing the female lead. I’m very happy that, Sandeep Chowta is providing the music. The film’s shoot starts in October in picturesque locations of Himachal Pradesh and will continue in Punjab and Rajasthan as well,” informs Puri.

Puri Jagannadh also unveiled first look poster of the film on the eve of his birthday today. While the background is completely filled with red, we can see a steam train and few war planes in the foreground. In the background we can also see Indo-Pak border map. Seems like, Puri Jagannadh is willing to come back strongly with Mehbooba and also to provide first break to his son Akash Puri. Let’s hope for the best.
