Maryada Ramanna Remake : SS Rajamouli's runaway hit 'Maryada Ramanna' starring Sunil is now expected to be remade in Tamil. Already this film has been remade in Hindi as 'Son of Sardar' starring Ajay Devagan and Sanjay Dutt. PVP Cinemas, which has distributed Tamil version of 'Eega' and produced Ravi Babu's 'Avunu' will be producing this film in Tamil. According to the grapevine, popular comedian Santhanam will be reprising the role of Sunil as the lead actor. Maryada Ramanna was released in the year 2010 and the movie fetched positive reviews and became a decent entertainer.
