Maniratnam-Karthi project to go on the floors

Buoyed by a huge hit like "OOPIRI", Tamil hero Karthi is being appreciated by all quarters of the audience. Even the critics showered praises for Karthi's performance in Oopiri. Karthi has bagged an offer to act under star director Maniratnam.

This untitled project is to get on the floors by 15th July as per the fresh reports. The team would kick-start the shoot in Ooty. Bollywood beauty Yami Gautham is the female lead in this movie. "Premam" fame Sai Pallavi was referred to as the heroine in this movie, but later Yami Gautham replaced her.
