Is Mahesh Babu Mani Ratnam movie dropped? It's being rumored that Mani Ratnam Mahesh Babu and Tamil hero Vijay movie is being put off. Sources say that Mani Ratnam has roped in Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Vijay for Tamil version for a period drama (titled Ponniyan Selvan in Tamil). However, its been gossiped that Mani Ratnam is facing difficulties in sourcing funds for this mega budget movie.
Mahesh Babu Mani Ratnam movie would require around 100 crores and Mani Ratnam is feeling the heat to pull funds for this movie. According to reports, financiers and money corproates are apprehending to finance this huge budget movie since Mani Ratnam ealier delivered a disaster in the form of Raavan (Villain) and as such Mani Ratnam has decided to stop this movie. Remember, Mahesh Babu immediately adjusted and gave his dates when Mani Ratnam asked him to work with him but now things have changed dramatically. We need to wait and see whether any producer will take over this project or will this movie be put off altogether.
