Manchu Lakshmi in Mani Ratnam's Film

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna has bagged a meaty role in ace director Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Tamil film. Tipped as versatile actress, Lakshmi recently made her Bollywood debut too with Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Department’ in which she’s playing home maker to Sanjay Dutt. And freshly, she’s expanding her footprint to Kollywood as she would enact in Mani Ratnam’s movie. Says Lakshmi, “Ok..phew.. I just signed a movie w Manirathnam. My first Tamil film. He is the first man who influenced me 2 b in films. Dreams do come true.” Lakshmi has also launched the Tamil version of U Kodathara Ulikki Padathara (UKUP). Great going Lakshmi!
