The film stars the Akkineni clan and Manam is way too special since we are going to pay a grand tribute for departed Legend, Akkineni Nagewara Rao. Samantha was dressed up in a gorgeous saree with a peach hint. The pretty lady patiently answered all the questions posed by the media. 1. Do You Think This Role Will Talk About Your Performance Instead of Beauty ?

Samantha : I had always wanted to choose performance oriented roles and Manam is one of them. I have two different roles and that spans throughout the film.

2. Describe Manam In One Single Word !!

Samantha : 'Manam' is the word I would give it. The film describes togetherness and the value of a family.

3. Tell Us About The Director of Manam

Samantha : Vikram is a great guy. Initially I had a trouble in understanding what he is actually looking for, but now he has turned out to be a great friend of mine. He is demanding when it comes to performance and I like the way he shaped up things.

4. You experience with ANR

Samantha : He was friendly soul. He always had a bright smile on his face. Although people see the family as a clan of stars, all three actors including Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are very friendly and down to earth. ANR is an inspirational personality.

5. The Best Moment In Manam :

Samantha : There was a single shot in the car, where Vikram was reading out the dialogues for me. The scene involves different range of emotions and while doing it, I forgot that it was a movie and really got involved into the scenario. It starts off with a normal mood to a drastic break down. That is one scene I could never forget.

6. Who Was Your Best Critic At The Sets of Manam ?

Samantha : I am my worst critic. Although people like my performance, I never get satisfied with what I have done. In fact I have only one favorite film of mine.

7. Which Film is that ?

Samantha : I love Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu

8. Do You Know That Film Makers Call You a Lucky Charm ?

Samantha : I do know that and I have no complaints. I feel that as long as I am lucky, I keep surviving.
