Malayam actress found dead

Malayalam actor Rekha Mohan was reportedly found dead inside her apartment in Thrissur on Saturday. The 45-year-old actress shared screen space with leading actors like Mammootty (in Udyanapalakan) and Mohanlal (in Yathramozhi) besides acting in popular TV serials. Rekha’s husband, after not being able to get in touch with her for the last two days, contacted the Thrissur police to look at the situation. The report also suggested that when police broke into her apartment, which was said to be locked from inside, they found the deceased body of Rekha. The body has been sent to the Thrissur Medical college and more details will emerge after the post mortem is complete. A case has also been registered. Rekha Mohan was known for her roles in TV serials like Mayamma and films including 'Udyanapalakan', 'Yathramozhi' and 'Ne Varuvolam.
