Naveen Polishetty and Anushka’s upcoming comedy entertainer has gained a lot of attention already, thanks to the coming together of these two extremely talented actors. On the 7th of this month, 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty' is getting ready for worldwide release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
The makers are currently busy with promotions. Today director Mahesh babu P interacted with media about the film. Talking about his break for the second film. He said "Rara Krishnaiah is my first movie. After that there were some films. Some have stopped after began shooting. Few didn't gone to the sets for unexpected reasons. I was writing stories in this gap."
Talking about how Anushka came onboard, he said "Anushka has done subjects like Baahubali and Bhagmathi. She was waiting for a similar lighter way entertainment story. When I told this story, she loved. She came into the project. UV creations also impressed with the story
Talking about delay, he said "I've narrated this story to Naveen in 2019. He took time for 3 months and said okay. We have started the shoot on lead pair in February 2020. We have set the first schedule in March. Then the pandemic came.
He added, "On the other hand, Naveen went to the US for promotion and struck there. The lock down restricted us to our homes. So this project took its time. Recent postponement was due to post production delay.
Talking about the content in the film, He said "Our film has bold content but not adult content. Actors like Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty have a good image and credibility. If the content is not good, then they would've not signed the film."
It was a surprise to get a call from Megastar Chiranjeevi garu, says Mahesh Babu who was overjoyed. He said, "Megastar Chiranjeevi garu invited us to his home and appreciated. We discussed about the film for about 1 and half hour. Apparently, he watched the film with 10 family members including Surekha garu and they all loved it."
We got U/A from the censor. The censor team said that after a long time, they have thoroughly enjoyed the film says Mahesh Babu P.
