Earlier, MAA TV is owned by Megatstar Chiru, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Nimmagadda Prasad and Allu Arvind. But now, these people got their shares sold and Star Network has completely took MAA. However, still MAA TV is giving super preference to their own family's star Ram Charan and Akhil.
As the films of these stars are coming for Dasara, Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee" on October 16th and Akhil's "Akhil" on October 22nd, MAA TV made sure that they will not air "Baahubali: The Beginning" premiere show on television at that time, as it may hold few audiences glue to TVs and not going to theatres. While Malayalam and Hindi versions of Baahubali are being aired on October 4th and around, Telugu version will be aired on October 25th. That's the story folks.
