Vijay Devarakonda's upcoming film Liger, opposite Ananya Panday, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film went on floors in 2019 and after facing several hurdles, Liger is now set to hit cinemas on August 25, 2022.
The makers plan to kick off the promotion with a roar with the release of the first single. The makers revealed today that a major punch will be delivered on Vijay Devarakonda's birthday, May 9. The first single release date will be announced soon. Sharing this exciting news Charmee Kaur wrote
"We have been waiting patiently for our turn in front of INDIA! He is Hungrrrrry-India is Hungry. Now, let us Unleash him."
Liger is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar. In the film, Vijay Deverakonda will be playing the role of a boxer. He took rigorous training from experts to play the role with authenticity. Liger will release in five languages, namely, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
