Slight Change In Sankranthi Releases

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150, Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni, Sharwanand’s Shatamanam Bhavati and people’s star R Narayana Murthy’s Head Constable Venkataramaiah are the films in Sankranthi race.
As per reliable sources, there is slight change in release dates of these films. GPSK initially scheduled for January 11th will arrive on 12th. Khaidi No 150 which was planned for 11th is pushed to 13th. Sharwanand’s movie is also delayed by a day to release on 14th. There is no clarity yet on release date of Narayana Murthy’s film.
Both Chiru and Balayya targeted record first day collections, so are wishing not to release their films on same day. If the news is true, there will be one day gap between outing dates of GPSK and Khaidi No 150.
Other big problem for Sankranthi releases is they may not get desired numbers of theaters. More than the biggies, it will be a problematic for the small time films hitting the screens for the festival. One thing for sure is theaters will be increased in second week for the film which garners positive talk.
